For some reason, I cannot seem to leave comments on other peoples blogs today. Every time I try I either get booted (dang dial-up) or I get an error message. So, here's what I had to say today!! ;)
Phelan has been thinking about family and her family history and has decided to do a series of posts on the Depression and wanted to know if we, the readers would be interested in such a series. I say, most definitely. I've often looked through the pics of Eric's family here on the farm and wondered what life must have been like for them during that time. I imagine it was a bit easier being here on the farm then in the city. Looking forward to your posts Phelan!
p` has some exciting news! He may be teaching others his homesteading/gardening skills for free!! I say GO P!! Good for you!! There's no better way to be a catalyst for change than teaching others. Good luck!
Christy is taking part in a challenge that is truly...well.....challenging. I just wanted to tell her I admire her immensely and I think the last part of that challenge is the best, because you actually do something beyond saying the words. And I cannot wait to see the pics of the sheep replacing the lawnmower at your future home!! :)
Twinville has some serious news. It's Fire season in her area and there's one headed straight for her!!!! I sincerely hope there is no risk to your family or your animals. And I hope the injured tally continues to remain at zero.
Mommy Mommy Land has been BUSY! Do you guys read this blog? You should. This family moved from Colorado to Pennsylvania this year to start up their own farm and CSA for THIS year! Ambitious! I just wanted to tell her I admire what they're doing and all that hard work that they're accomplishing really quickly (even if it doesn't feel that way it to you!) And your little ones are darling!! Yay baby b!! :)
Kris has LETTUCE GONE WILD!! LOL!! Don't worry Kris, it could be worse! And if you make a little video, you could rake in millions!! Gardener's Eye candy and all! LOL!! :)
And finally, Dina has baby chicks! I'm new to her blog and just wanted to say Congrats on the little ones Dina, they're adorable!

Okay - I will not freak out over my lettuce plants - my tomatoes look awesome - I WILL NOT freak out over my lettuce plants - my tomatoes look awesome. . . (repeat as necessary). I was actually down there this morning at 7:00 wondering if I should divide the dang things. . . .(and then how much lettuce would I have?) hehe.
Kris
Thin 'em, they'll quit getting so leggy when they don't have competition in the pot. And if they are a bit leggy, you can fix that when you transplant to the garden.
Ha ha ha! I don't know if we are ambitious or crazy!!! There is a very fine line between the two.
LOL! True, and you're walking the line, aren'tcha?! :)
